HAHA you can’t even spell the word. Next weeks spelling test will include the words hypocrite and ignorance. Look them up if you don’t yet understand them.
I would agree with this statement. Although you are tryig to help, you are promoting a questionably dangerous substance to the general public who may contraindicate grossly with your directions. Dietary changes are valid IN MODERATION. Scaremongering may occur in readers by telling them that perfectly safe pharmaceuticals will kill them. You are doing a hell of alot of damage through promoting your lifestyle, although respected, SHOULD NOT IN ANY WAY BE FOLLOWED PRIOR INTERVENTION.
I get the impression you are very anti drugs, but diazpam and associated drugs are only administered after drug trials, laboratory testings and associated examination.
There are highly positive results gained from medical drug administration, and a LOW percentage of morbidity rates.
I wanted to comment on this, because although you are very clearly ‘for’ cannibis, I did not want people to presume cannibis is the only answer. As a health professional, I can say that every case is individual.
It seems you are a little ignorant or just an attention whore, for you obviously what a reply, and of course this discrimination will rightfully get one.
I would hate to bump into you in A&E, the drunk/disorderly/inbred/scummy type. As a health professional with epilepsy, I am certainly not a retard. As a hypocritical lower being yourself, with an IQ of approximately 4, I would seriously reconsider your ‘valuable’ contribution and image of ignorance.
yes my friend is on the Atkins diet, and she limits her dairy intake because that often triggers her epilepsy. During a seizure, are you injected with any type of anti-convulsant medicine or are you forced to wait it out?
I have epilepsy and watching Christine brought tears to my eyes. I have never in my life talked to anyone else with epilepsy because my family have made me feel very ashamed to have epilepsy. I was diagnosed aged 11 with frontotemperal, controlled with medication, although I have found your cannabis discussion extremely interesting. I’m not sure that diet control would actually help my case,if there is evidence of it improving siezure control and quality of life, then I’d love to know more. x
I often find that when I come round from fitting, say an hour after, my tongue may be slightly bitten. However icecream helps in small amounts, to reduce swelling and therefore reducing the adverse diction I get from biting my tongue.
If you are on any diet control, dairy free icecream, or maybe organic sorbet would be preferred.
Also meant to ask, if I could… since you have a chronic pain condition, have you also tried cannabis for the condition, and if so, has it had any notable affect? Thanks…
Interesting… I’m a medic (duh) and have long been curious about the medicinal properties of marijuana. Did it really decrease her seizures by that much? Were there any other changes to her routine involved along with the cannabis?
what you do is turn them on their side, but also face-down-ish, so the saliva can drain out of the mouth, put something soft under their head, and keep your hands away from their mouth completely.
if they go into a second one within 15-20 minutes, then call 9/11
when they start to flail, GENTLY keep them from thrashing around.
marijuana is safer, so one need not wait until extreme circumstances. the idea that it is somehow less safe of less effective is brought to you by the pharma companies.

Makes perfect sense. Well put.
I would add planning pregnancies and occupational health intervention, including career choices, sport choices (ie dangers of swimming), and driving.
